As we see it
20/October/09
We were asked by Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Blackburn to develop a new Sixth Form brochure. We wanted to keep the design simple and clean. Most of the copy was provided by current Sixth Formers from the school and this open and honest approach helped us with the design process. The finished result was well received.

Embroideries Guide for Liverpool Cathedral
24/September/09
We have been fortunate enough to work with Liverpool Cathedral on a new guide featuring the Cathedral’s wonderful embroideries collection. The book is full of outstanding pictures and tells the story behind the creation of the embroideries and the people who designed and made them.

Home Front Memories book
03/September/09
As part of a new World War II exhibition for St Helens Council we were asked to design a book of oral history containing the memories and reminiscences of the people living in the area through the war years. The book will accompany the exhibition as it tours the local area.

Display for St Helens Home Front launch
01/September/09
Following the success of a display to celebrate the Armistice, we were asked to produce another display stand to remember the work done during World War II by the people in the St Helens area living and working on the Home Front. The exhibition is currently on display at Chester Lane Library and moves to various locations throughout St Helens until the end of the year.

By using a modular display system it was possible to combine both displays for the launch of the Home Front exhibition. The panels have been designed to keep the display flexible and portable and a number of combinations of panels can be used in different ways depending upon the size and shape of the venue.

Sure Start booklet translates into 13 languages
12/August/09
Following the good public reception of a booklet designed for Everton Children and Family Centre, we were asked to produce a series of editions in 13 different languages. Although the task was demanding, it was the attention to detail that ensured the project’s success.
